Fees, Cancellations and Missed Appointment Policy

Accessing services from Get Psych'd Pty Ltd ACN 648 369 251 constitutes your agreement to the following terms and conditions.

Fee-for-service and Medicare Streams

All clients are required to complete a Credit Card Authorisation Form as part of the intake process, providing authorisation for Get Psych'd to charge a credit/debit card for psychological services provided by Get Psych'd. 

Failure to provide this authorisation may result in Get Psych'd being unable to provide psychological services. 

Payment must be made in full on the day of service, as per the Fees Schedule and will be processed following the provision of the services by Get Psych'd. 

It is the responsibility of the client and/or the cardholder to ensure the credit/debit card details provided to Get Psych'd are correct and kept up to date. Any re-processing of payment/s will attract a credit card reprocessing fee as per the Fees Schedule. 

Unpaid Accounts

We request timely payments of accounts to ensure a smooth service delivery. Accounts over 45 days old will be sent to a debt recovery agency and any recovery fees will be added to the account.

Third-party funded Stream

All third-party funded clients are required to provide confirmation of their approved third-party funding as part of the intake process, providing authorisation for Get Psych’d to provide psychological services and charge the third-party. 

Failure to provide this confirmation may result in Get Psych’d being unable to provide psychological services. 

Payment will be charged to third-party following the provision of the services by Get Psych’d and must be paid in accordance with the agreed terms between Get Psych’d and the third-party organisation. Where a third-party funds services in advance, Get Psych’d will provide confirmation of services provided following the provision of the services by Get Psych’d.  

We aim to keep our fees affordable and our services accessible. 

Psychological services provided by Get Psych’d will be charged as per the Fees Schedule. 

All fees are current as at the date specified at the top of the Fees Schedule and may be changed without notice. 

The Fees Schedule applies to all funding streams, except where otherwise agreed between Get Psych’d and a third-party organisation. 

An appointment at Get Psych’d is a dedicated one-on-one session with a Registered Psychologist. We recognise that everyone's time is valuable and our Psychologists prepare for each individual session in advance so that we can best support each young person. 

A minimum 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change an appointment. 

Get Psych’d will make all reasonable efforts to offer that allocated appointment time to another young person who may be on a cancellation or wait list for an appointment. If Get Psych'd are unable to re-allocate that appointment to another young person, cancellation fees will apply. 

The following fees apply for cancellations within 48 hours prior to your appointment:

• 0 - 24 hours notice: Full fee charged
• 24 - 48 hours notice: 50% fee charged
• More than 48 hours notice: No fee charged

If a young person does not attend a scheduled appointment, the full consultation fee will be charged.

Cancellation and missed appointments fees apply to all funding streams.
