Get the fine print

You may be eligible to access this service and receive a Medicare rebate. To be eligible you must be referred by your GP and have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP). Medicare rebates can be claimed for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. 

Please speak with your GP about your eligibility to claim these Medicare benefits. 

As we are not a bulk billing service, gap payments will apply.  

You may be eligible to access this service under your private health insurance. 

Please check with your private health insurance fund to ensure that you are eligible for psychology services.  

Payment must be paid in full on the day of service and an invoice will be provided, to assist you with claiming your rebate through your private health insurance fund. 

You are able to access this service without a referral. However, please be advised that you may be unable to claim a rebate without a valid referral. 

We aim to keep our fees affordable and our services accessible.

Your appointment is a dedicated one-on-one session with your Psychologist. We recognise that everyone's time is valuable and we prepare for each individual session in advance so that we can best support you. 

We understand that sometimes things can change, so please contact us and provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment.  

This notice allows us to offer the allocated time to another young person who may be on a cancellation or wait list for an appointment.

At Get Psych’d we aim to be accessible to all. 

Where appropriate we may provide psychological services via telehealth/video conferencing.
